BioDue to the increasing need for staff to keep a closer tabs on the students at Hogwarts during these times of crisis, I am to be the first teacher with a journal of these sorts.
For those of you unaware, I am Professor McGonagall, specializing in teaching Transfiguration to all years. I am also the deputy headmistress as well as the head of Gryffindor house, though I am not one to show any sort of favouritism, as unmentioned people would do well to note. Therefore, along with alerting the students of class assignments and school worthy information, I am also here to "keep an eye on you" as some may be tempted to say.
